Well guys, I had placed a thread on the AussiePAD forum regards the N101. They informed me that their tablet is not a decendant of our N101. They stated that it has no relation to the it. Last night I replied to the admin and explained our plight regards not getting any support for our tablet.
Well to cut a long story short, my thread was deleated. Very dissapointing, so I think we can forget AussiePAD for any support regards jellybean.

Expected! They closed down the download area for Aussiepad. They do not get any business from other non-Aussiepad users so why allow others to use thier badnwidth? Simple business.
BTW if you think they are getting any different hardware than any other OEM, they are feeding BS!
I know how this works. Manufacturing of hardware is probably all coming from Yuandao. Sure they may make changes for a specific OEM WILLING to PAY for the manufacturing line changes! I doubt seriously Aussiepad sells enough to afford a major hardware change that Yuandao would implement just for them! I read that post before it got deleted and laughed my ASS off!
Making ROMs? Well there could be many hired software houses doing that as long as Yuandao released the sources to them. Like Elijah, etc. Hell, I bet Yuandao is not even making the ROMs themsleves but are using a hired software company!
But trust me. Pretty sure all the hardware is the same! This is why Aussiepad ROMs work on stock Yuandao hardware!

Bob,
I could not have put it in to better words. This is not our first time going to a disco. Deleting the thread was petty, it was however getting more views than the rest of the posts, lol. We all know its a N101, fair enough if they have rebranded it, If they are investing money in their ROM development, then fair enough. But there loss mate. I have to say that they are providing a decent level of support to their customers.
So moving forward, what will be the first step in porting Jellybean? system image? I am confident that you wil be able to do the job mate.

Jellybean made yet another big change to the SDK and kernel from ICS.
So try as I might for DAYS... I could not get a Jellybean system to boot on a ICS kernel! Just too much differences in the SDK level between ICS and JellyBean to make that happen. TRUST ME! I tried and spent a HELL of a lot of time trying.
Sorry man but without kernel sources, NO JB port can be done.

The next big test will be if they suddenly change their tablet to the new N101 IIv2 design.

However they may do thier own quality inspection on top of what they get and weed out the bummers and send them back. Now that would make more sense to me!

So you know and it's my understanding that the US term "I have a bridge to sell you" came from NY and was based around the Brooklyn Bridge. It was because 2 scammers actually sold it to stupid tourists!
"References to "selling the Brooklyn Bridge" abound in American culture, sometimes as examples of rural gullibility but more often in connection with an idea that strains credulity. For example, "If you believe that, I've got a bridge to sell you." George C. Parker and William McCloundy are two early 20th-century con-men who had (allegedly) successfully perpetrated this scam on unwitting tourists.[55] The 1949 Bugs Bunny cartoon Bowery Bugs is a joking reference to Bugs "selling" a story of the Brooklyn Bridge to a naive tourist."

There are some Russian guys I know that I would love to sell this bridge to!

There is the Aussiepad thread, the Ainol thread, then the Yuandao N101 thread. There is only your post and replies in it so don't get your hopes up for any JB releases.
