I don't know, if the uboot.bin fits to your device...
You are missing it, because the tool doesn't copy it to the partitions as a file, it place the binary in front of the existing partition at the SD card (you will recognize that the size of the partition shrinks a little bit) so the system can boot via the SD card...

      Thank you.
I decided a while ago to just go ahead and try and the firmware has installed.
I can confirm that the box does indeed appear to be quicker ( Antutu is very nearly 30,000 whereas I was on 22,000 before) and there is definitely less lag, and at least one of my earlier problems, sound via hdmi, is cured and works now without having to install SoundAbout. Takes absolutely ages for Play Store to update itself and be ready for adding apps but worked eventually. Wifi doesn't reconnect automatically after a reboot and cant find why (log in details are there and just have to tick the wifi box).
Any other help would be appreciated.
      Thanks

I am fairly confident that my problems regarding Play Sore have been resolved too, I can reboot as often as I want and login details remain.
But this WiFi problem is a pain in the ass....
Why oh why are these M8 boxes so temperamental?
