So far with playing with the M8 (metal case) I dont notice any difference with it compared to the square M8 (Samsung chip) WIFI is absolutely fine (although more testing would be better just to be sure and more testing on other boxes, same model as well)
Front display behaving normal like the T8 and M6 showing boot when its booting up then showing the time afterwards, so not sure why others are seeing just "boot"? No doubt there will be 2 versions of this, possibly more like we seen with the square M8 and what almost always seems to be the case with most TV models out there!
But so far seems ok, plays 1080, no interlacing, WIFI seems fine - not tested ethernet yet.
Will test the T8 next

Does the M8 still get hot but stable or is the temperature kept in check at a lower level.
Also noticed from the internal pictures, there doesn't seem to be any battery backup realtime clock, so what is displayed in standby - still the clock? And can the box be turned off by the remote?
Finally, who is the UK seller that UK owners have bought from?
Any/all answers would be gratefully appreciated.
