OK here is my BETA 1.2 ROM. Remember from the posts above I can only test so much. I am sorry that I have no README on how to flash. But based on the posts above you have LEARNED to do that already.
Here is the BETA TEST ROM!

Use the flash tool I provide in the ROM kit NOTHING else! Also do not mess with the settings of the flash tool. This ROM boots fine on my Arnova tablet so I know it is not a brick ROM. But what works and what does not..... Only you all can tell me that.
All this BETA ROM is, is a rooted version of the stock ROM provided to me by posts above. It also has Google Play store patches to get more APPs to show up in Google Play. Nothing else!

still no google play. i installed an apk of google play and it is still force closing.Comment

The ROM you provided me had google play already in it! So not sure why your not getting Gplay unless that ROM you gave me was someone elses attempt to get gplay working.

the rom i sent was the rom that came in the manufacturer's box that was shipped to me. this tablet is outfitted with some chinese appstore by the name of appoke market. i have not once had the google play store running on this machine. the only thing i have done is try to install a .apk file of gplay but every version of it will get through the id registration and then force close every time the icon is pressed.Comment

Since you are rooted get ES file explorer. If you look in /system/app you will see I put the latest Play sore in there called vending.apk. see if you can reinstall it from there and if it lets you.
Otherwise the problem is the play store files I have must nort be compatible with your OS level (SDK version).

im not finding /system/app in es file explorer. all it's seeing is my sd card.
could it be that the os is tied to the appoke market and is blocking the google play store?Comment

OK so not to give you a hard time but you are a little bit of a n00b
It's OK.
Go into ES file explorer settings and enable the following
Show hidden files
Up to root
Root explorer
Mount system as RW
Then you can get to /system
