Oh yeah! I got your point!

I just did flash the Old ROM M8 from Finless V1.8 into M8N successfully (no errors found).
Thank you Finless, your ROM is fantastic in performance!

Then I changed the remote.conf as you advised!
Bingo! the New Remore control is now working same as what it supposes on the Old one!

Now, you know what, I'm noticed the WiFi does not work at all or could not detect any WiFi signals!

Not sure if you or anyone encounters same problem or know how to get a workaround for it?

    Any ideas?

    Thanks!

OK! It seems be good news to me that both M8 and M8N are compatible? (same WiFi chipset?).
Have you tried any "CPU control patchers"? Does it work regardless of M8 or M8N? Please advise!

Which custom ROM/FW have you tried or recommended?

        Thanks!

          same wifi chip ap6330 ...

As I've already mentioned before The Stock Rom that box comes with is quite fast (probably the fastest Stock Launcher ,No Lag at all! )

xbmc 13.2 installed ... Thanx to Bob he has done those Patches to push minimum Cpu Clock higher agains Launcher Problems which has been sorted now...

If you ask me There is no point to install another FW till Stane Shares his new FW...

Honestly, I still do not get M8N's (Stock ROM) performance as well as M8 does, of course with Bob's ROM 1.8, when it runs XBMC 13.2 or 14.0!

I think you can upgrade to the old M8 firmware if you like the old M8 . but really i think M8N new firmware is better , XBMC is 13.2 . system runs fast .
if you want old M8 firmware ,you can contact me ,but you need to replace the remote.conf .

Thanks for advising! I think I can find old M8 firmware!
You are right about stock ROM for M8 vs M8N, the M8N seems be stable (less crashed) compares to M8!
I need to do more experiments on PVR Client applications. What it really does is Live-TV (A/V) streaming and Recording simultaneously at real-time without or minimum Frame-Rate/Bit-rate Dropped out! Will see!
