It works, thanks! But same error, I can't setup, the app or extension won't recognize the "Matchstick". My chromecast is recognized

I made progress on my mk808 non b. I am able to get it to connect to my wifi just long enough for my tablet to find it. But disconnects very quickly

First get adb working.
Then install firefox os app manager.
In the firefox app manager go to apps and start settings.
Settings much similar to android start.
Use a mouse to connect to your wifi.
Mine stays connect for only about a minute.

I gave up on this not sure it is worth it. I will port android in Feb to it in feb. Trial and error.it was the adb itself that I had to find that worked. Google adb mk808b there is one that works out of the box for these sticks

Hi,

I was wondering if it would be possible to run the OS on top of a rk3188 processor as well (in my case a T428).

I've written some instructions on porting the Matchstick ROM to another RK3066 device. There's a chance that it could work for a RK3188 device as well.
The other method is to build your own Matchstick image from the sources. Matchstick have instructions on building a pure Firefox OS too.

thx BalintBanyasz for your latest rom. Connection with the original 808B is working.
Throwing youtube videos is working. 2 things i encountered, no fullscreen on LG 29" monitor and throwing videos via bubbleupnp does not work. Does matchstick run in 720p? I'll try another tv set. Bubbleupnp would have priority for me. But i think this might be a Bubbleupnp problem, except matchstick did not implement chromecast protocol correctly. Keep up the good work.

So, i tried on my Samsung TV, still no fullscreen. see attached screenshots.
Tried 2 casting apps, no luck either.

Yes ! I could made the setup with my android phone! and now it's work whith my onda tablette. But only youtube have the option matchstick and it work great. May be more in the future. Thank for all!

I get fullscreen on my Samsung tv. Think i might be using a 1080 kernel
