sound drop outs

sound drop outs
Hi all. Really stuggling...amlogic s802 m8. .sound drops out for a few seconds at random points ..tried streaming. Playing from hard drive. Using different types of players..happens on Music And Videos. All types of files. Tried different types of firmware .new hdmi. And different hdmi slot in tv..cable tv isn't dropping on same tv . Cant fathom whats causing issue..any ideasTags: None

It looks to me like some HDCP issue.[edit:changed DHCP to HDCP. duh]
Turning my amp off and on again restores sound.
I didn't have this issue with earlier ROMs so not sure if you have the same issue.
