At the last option on left side of ES File Manager select, show hidden files and Root Access, change system and / to R/W access from R access only, then copy the files.
When I tried to flash the boot.img the tool reported. "Match device type failed, stop running!" (Beelink R89 UBOX)

Update: Got it installed with the Tool that I have downloaded with Finless 1.2 ROM.

First stage of the test - (before overwriting with the patchedlibmedia.so) Only digital noise when selecting PT on both SPMC and Modded Kodi.
After overwriting with the patchlibmedia.so: SPMC - Surround Sound indicators flashing; Modded Kodi - PT working; RKVideoplayer - PT working.

    I'm running bee-link R89 stock rom
Used all the files including patchlibmedia.so for it work ..
I used non patched kodi and it would just crash ,
xbmc non patched the voices just sounded deeper !!!!
Once I used spmc beta or patched kodi the experience was truly breath taking.......

Ok, now I understand. Will test now, and give feed back.

    Make backup first

    1. Flash boot.img
    2. Copy files to system/lib /Es File Manager, Root Explorer
    3. Restart device
    4. Test PT for
    - RKVideoPlayer
    - SPMC
    - Kodi Beta 1 PT patched
    - Kodi nightly
    5. Then do the same but after copying patchedlibmedia.so as in step 2 also and restarting device. The patchedlibmedia.so file needs to be renamed to libmedia.so before copying.

The pathed kodi at post #1 should work...
renamed the old one to *.bak, copied the new one and then i choose hdmi bitstream in android settings. After a restart of the box, SPMC seems to send a dolby digital signal after pressing pause and resume in a movie.
BUT the sound is that much lagging that u dont unterstand a word.
Moreover at first i had to deaktive all media libs in acceleration to play all my movies smooth. Now i have to activate them to play my mkv files. Nevertheless dts seems still not working.

    Patch tool

My coding sucks in this app. If you do something wrong start the app over. I also wouldn't patch more than one without restarting.

Place folder in c:\patch to use....Place the libmedia.so in patch folder.

Work your way down the buttons.

Open file and navigate to the libmedia.so
Open the csv in the csv patches.
    Patch the file.
Since this is not a kernel skip the CRC step
Save....It will save to the same folder your libmedia.so and ammend it with patched.

I make no guarantees that this will work on other libmedia.so files. I hope it does. As long as the code doesn't change much is should work. Might work on other libmedia.so files....just need to test.

Big thanks to stafstrom for the actual hack. Just trying to make it easier for him and everyone.

Perfect 2 examples are awesome. In case they have some sort of crc check.
