Gotham Freeze/hangs T-R42 B351_V4.21

bumped my new T-R42 to 1080p

Gotham 13.2 and latest Kodi builds, I get an out-of-sync picture and the box hangs up, have to reboot.


Worked fine when box was set at 720p.
Any ideas ?

Does it cause the same problem with other video players, if you play videos for a long time?
Have you checked the power supply, maybe use 3A power adapter?
You have a very new ROM, so even making a custom kernel with 1080p won't fix the issue. Unfortunately I haven't made a RTL8723 kernel before, because it didn't work. Might see if I can make one but it will take a couple of days for me to see if I can do it.

Found an older firmware that works with this new board.

this one works at 1080p.

flashing newer kernel with older (2014/07) system.img still works,
indicating that issue is with the new system.

From little I know, assuming it is one the of the system Lib files.
