PTAB8000 Frozen screen no reset

The instruction on the PTAB8000 show there is supposed to be a reset button on the back of the device (pin hole size) but I have two of them side my side and neither have a reset hole. However, I also noticed that the port layout on the bottom of the device doesn't match the instruction either. I can't find a way to reset it to bypass the frozen screen. Is the rest actually under the cover where I need to remove the back panel to access it?

Try holding the power button for 10 seconds or so.

Then plug in the charger, wait 10 min and try the power button trick again.
