c'mon dude, it's just 3 days since i said "we are working on it", we do this for fun on our (very little and valuable) free time. So please, be nice and don't push.

Flash 108k4 in the meantime, it's the latest firmware for this box.

I wasn't pushing, curious, and I hadn't realised it had only been a few days.
I think I was at the end of my tether with the other one.

I flashed 108k4, a noticeable difference, it's ok. That Media launcher is a killer though. I disabled it.

Thanks for the great work you do, and everyone else. Didn't mean to come across as ungrateful or as an impatient oaf, I'm not normally - (I promise ) I just wasn't paying attention.

POWER OFF on remote to STANDBY

Is there a way to make default POWER OFF action to STANDBY (by remote controller) ? By default 108k4 asks to SWITCH OFF or STANDBY - wchich is 2 additional clicks on remote, beside with TV screen off (when I listen only to music) it's easy for mistake. So is there a way to make STANDBY action default ?

Sorry to ask a new question on this device: have you tested the AV cable that I understand come with the box and checked Video and audio signals ( are they good enough ? Could You please check this feature for me, as I am in the decision for an in car installation and I need basic analog cvbs video and audio connection to start with! ). Thanks for your reply.

HDMI output is perfect, same digital audio.

Thanks for your reply, but I asked another thing: I would like to know if through ANALOG OUT marked maybe A/V on the box you can get a good signal, if you can try, with the AV cable provided with the box ( 3,5 mm single pin on one side, three chinch pin on the other side, normally white, red and yellow)!

I have used the AV lead as I had problems with the Hdmi output. Though it worked I did think the picture quality was very poor. Audio quality seemed ok.

Back on topic I downloaded media mans firmware which fixed the Hdmi issue but only on 720p settings.

Really happy with this until other firmware becomes available. My only criticism is that the wifi strength doesn't seem great compared to rockchip devices.

AV is quite OK, but compared to HDMI looks very poor, but AV is not digital so this is expected.

Thanks again, I have to add and conclude that the screen I should have to use it on is a 6,1" normal resolution one, so not a big problem of discerning ... low resolution images. Thanks a lot!

Hi.
I´m getting crazy with this box.
I received today my new android box MXQ S05 and i updated the box with the latest rom, the 108k4 Firmware.
The rom works fine but i cant change the launcher.
I'm trying to put xbmc as the default launcher, but if i do that i only get a black screen every time i power the device.
The device power up until the part we have to chose the launcher.
I've tried every different forms of xbmc, spmc and other with no luck.
Witch xbmc or others is the best for this device ?????
Can anyone help ????

I'm also on stock 108k4, I've changed launcher to "XBMC Launcher" from Google play. It works great. I've also rooted box and with titanium backup uninstalled all other launchers (and much more applications) - now I've got 600MB of free RAM, and XBMC works great

Hole my xbmc and spmc apps have the capability of the launcher function.

I've been trying this for quite a while now. I've tried lots of different version and still no joy. Gave up in the end and now using XBMC launcher. Works very well.
