Which CS918?
I have to ask because meanwhile there exist too many different devices using the same name.
E.g. with or without BT.
Generally the newer devices often use a modded rk3188 called rk3188T which has less power, also worst case you get a device which fake 2GB ram but only 1GB ram is build in.
Because there exist many different devices the chance to find a custom rom for it isn't really good...
I don't know the CS908 but find some threads about CS918S (also Allwinner) here at the sub-forum, e.g.

Since they are listed as having bluetooth they are 1.6ghz and not 1.8 right? It lists the normal 3188 but since it has bluetooth it has to be the t right?
I'm kicking my ass for not finding this website sooner.Also will either of wazzers roms work on these?Comment

I don't think that's a good choice because of 1GB RAM....
I don't know if you will find a custom rom (you have to open the box via the 4 screws under the rubber feet and have a look at the printed information at the pcb)...
Nearly every new device uses the rk3188T which doesn't work/run at 1.8GHz at stock rom (maybe 1.4GHz at stock rom), but rk3188T is independently of BT (two different thinks)....RK3288 Devices

The money hasn't cleared yet and the order hasn't shipped.I contacted the seller and said I would like to cancel the order because the rk3188 isn't 1.8ghz like the listing states.
Also would one of these boxes with 2gb of ram be ok?Comment
