From reading these comments am I correct in sticking with my x7 until they release better firmware?? Or is this x8h + plus worth getting ??? I've my x7 less than 1 year

The X7 is more than capable, you wont see any improvements with the X8/8-H other than headaches in trying to patch up issues that were not on the X7/X7 Mini ...it is not progress when a newer and more expensive product brings annoyances. The X7 with v010 F/W and XBMC Minix Edition 13.3 is rock solid !

I have one on the way. I figured I could not do better for $79.99. With 2GB/16GB eMMC, Dual-Band WiFi the free air mouse, 4-port USB hub, MicroSD card(size unknown), SD card adapter, USB-USB micro adapter, and a 3 amp power supply, and it seemed good enough for me.
After missing several of the BF flash and half-price boxes by a hair, and though this wasn't my first choice, I'm glad I got it. I wanted a box with A/V out, but other than not having that, I'm getting more than I had wanted or could afford.
My demands for a box are not great, surely this will be adequate.
I am pretty excited about it, hopefully I won't be too disappointed.

For the record:

if you are mostly streaming internet video like youtube and the like and use xbmc with the most known streaming addons and/or live tv, you don't win anything with this plus version. the x8 and the x8-h are more then fast enough for that kind of use.

I think it was a typo and Geekbuying had to honor it. They corrected it immediately ! ...LoL
I deal with many Minix resellers on Alibaba and AliExpress for quotes and they are more confused than we are on these forums between the X8, X8-H and now the X8-H Plus ! ...LoL

Most can only tell with the difference in internal memory 8GB vs 16GB, now the Plus just confuses them even more. So when I get an quote that is too good to be true, they alway were quoting me the X8 which is around $110-$115usd these days.

Even the dual core G4 performs wonderfully with the stock v005 F/W and XBMC Minix Edition 13.3 !

I use two G4, a X7 and X7 Mini as the true and tried boxes in my main set-ups and the X8-H as a test bench ...what does that tell you ! ...LoL

From some of the posts here, I feel like I may have been ripped off. Is there a better box to have spent $80 on and would it include the air mouse? I could pawn this box off on a buddy of mine and get some other box for $80. Recommendations please.
