upgrade to stock kitkat

Hi,

Currently, I have the Pipo M6Pro, running stock ROM 4.2.2 (20140318). I would like to upgrade to the stock Kitkat. I found the ROM @ http://www.mediafire.com/download/je...4_20140220.rar. However, there is no instruction on it. Doesn't anyone know where I can find the upgrade instruction?

Also, do I need to flash the new loader as mentioned in http://www.freaktab.com/showthread.p...G-A-KITKAT-ROM!!!!! if I upgrade from stock 4.2.2 to stock 4.4?

Yes, you will need to flash the new loader. You need to use the RKBatchTool to flash the stock firmware.

I would highly recommend the latest custom ROM we have for this tablet. Our Freaktab developers have redone the complete firmware from Pipo sources and fixed the remainder of bugs leftover in the final stock ROM.

When installing a PIPO stock ROM using RKbatchtool the loader is AUTOMATICALLY installed, so if you want to flash this rom:

you do not need to worry about it!

I am getting conflict info. If I upgrade from stock 4.2.2 to stock 4.4, do you I need to flash the new loader? Can I just use RKBatchTool?

Sorry for being nit pic...I just don't brick the device and go through the process to unbrick it.

Thanks. Where can I find the description (fixes & changes) to these ROM? I will try them if the stock ROM doesn't satisfy my expectation.

You MUST flash the new loader.bin to upgrade to KK. Otherwise it will brick your tablet. If you flash the stock ROM with the batch tool...the loader will be flashed.
