    Reformatting the sdcard solved that.

I tried using recovery.img on sdcard from latest beta and worked like a charm.

FYI I found a boo boo by Minix. They left the needed commands in to support init.d but they did not add the folder to /etc so it wont work. I will fix that and also change this implementation back to the standard naming called init.d not init.

Thanks Bob for your quick reply!

Bob, I dont know if this could be better and safe for the X8-H, but Could you also set your new ROM to Interactive, and the CPU speed between 1280-1920Mhz, that some user mentioned will make all the 4 Cores to work and that also will make XBMC (Minix-XBMC) to work more smooth and faster?

      Best Regards.

The CPU is now unlocked! It has been since Beta 9.

Just use Antutu CPU master and set what you want. Tick set on boot so when you reboot you will get those settings back.

You're correct Bob. It's the picky recovery. First I still had the param.aml file on my USB Stick and other files too. When I then tried to root, it seemed to install without error, but in fact it hadn't. I then deleted the param.aml file and most of the other files on the stick and then it worked. Thank you all for your help and concern. Top forum with nice and helpful people!
