M8 V0.92 Running Extremely Hot

Hi Guys, a few of my friends including me are running Finless 1.8 with the 1008 CPU patch, these boxes get so hot that after about 30mins they just drop the video output...the blue light remains on but nobody is home. I have removed the heatsink and applied some heat paste thinking it may help but it has made no difference. Its gotta be heat related because when it fails I can spray the the board with antifiz and then it powers up instantly. Is there a fix or is it dud hardware? hope its not the latter as there is about 6 boxes behaving the same.

what do you expect cobber1008mhz go back to standard or water cool them

Thanks mate, I will go back it did ,do the same with the stock CPU aswell.

if still playing up on stock, then collect all your customers boxes and send them back to the supplier

its probably not the answer you wanted to hear but they should not overheat and drop out like that on stock, you probably did damage in first place at 1008

From which seller did you you buy the boxes if I may ask?

A company direct from China, bought 15 boxes 6 behaving like this...Ive attached another heatsink on top of the existing to see whether I can dissipate more heat will keep you posted

Just me... mind my ignorance but isn't the purpose of the CPU patcher is to run the CPU cooler?
