I don't think it flashes because verifying is something which normally happens before flashing...
But you are right, the recovery seems to begin to read which file ever and try to verify the signature of it...

Clarification

Use the stock recovery.img on sdcard instead of twrp.

@noderat - could you please clarify this? I'm also trying to return to stock after flashing Finless 1.0 and I get the same error as @raks67

Nevermind - figured it out. To anyone else looking to return to stock, what worked for me using the sdcard method was

recovery.img from the 107k4 update
factory_update_param.aml from the 109k4 update
m201-ota-20141222.zip from the 109k4 update

Also, I don't seem to be able to attach my powered external hard drive. (It has a built in usb hub which may be the problem).

I have only tested with unpowered flash drives which do work correctly. I'll test with a powered drive tonight.

CEC works for me only for the first couple of keypresses and then stops. I think it is a kernel bug and there is no solution yet.

Hello,

I'm just installing finless 1.0 on my mk808b-plus.

I can contribute my experience with some flashing problem:
I tried to install 109k4 stock rom but it doesn't work. The booting process when I tried to flash was : google tv logo, black screen, google tv logo and UI of 107k4. I tried with finless and the symptom was similar. I succeed in accessing in the twrp and remark that my micro SD (4GB) wasn't mounting. I changed it (8GB). Now, I can flash the finless rom 1.0 but not the stock rom.

Here is my new problem :
I don't have sound on all app (even XBMC). Could you help me ? Is there a fix ?
