Well dang, I was under the impression that Helix wouldn't need to be hacked as the Kodi team fixed the pass-through issues?

Thanks for notifying I've kept an eye on Koying personal SPMC page, but no updates there yet. I've tried the new SPMC, but the image goes all wonky on me as soon as I play a movie, the Kodi version JMCM has made works flawless. I've since found out that it was the RKlibstagefright hardware acceleration that caused the problem in SPMC, but I am happy that there are choices, so a big thanks to JMCM. :-)

Because this apk has a different signature, you need to uninstall karel version first, so do a backup of your android/data/org.xbmc.kodi folder before uninstall. I changed that folder name, then did uninstalled karel version, installed the new version, renamed back the folder to the right name and finally runned kodi and didn't loose any addon or video sources.

- Auto-framerate switching for Amlogic
- Auto-framerate switching for Rockchip
- Allow forcing passthrough hack on Rockchip via AS (<libMediaPassThroughHack>)
- Better Android apps icons
- Add direct access to common Android settings
- Android TV banner
- Fix Nexus 9
- Bump libbluray & ffmpeg
- Fix amlogic black screen on recent SDK
- ... and the usual bunch of bugfixes
