Yes I have used this method, it works.
Your system will automatically reboot after flashing.

For anyone who couldnt boot into flash mode, i share you a easier approach.

1. Run Bob's PC flash progran
2. Connect ug802. When boot up, install any Reboot App for Root (eg Ligus Tools). Then choose Reboot to bootloader
3. Once you see "Found RK USB mode" on Bob's program, click "Flash" imedately to start flashing

Guys at the bottom of the tool. If it says MASS Storage you are NOT in flash mode.
If is says rock loader USB you are in flash mode, you can then click the flash button. My istructions say this properly. You need to pay attention to what the toolk says at the bottom.

Some ones els suffer from the noisy image when you configure it in 1080? In 1.5 did not happened tat

I have a feeling the 1080p is bogus. Manufacture false advertising.
No stock Rom has provided true 1080p with any dongle.
This effects all units with any firmware as sold to us with the stock firmware.
I honestly think the manufactures can't support this feature. Its a lie.

flashing problems my cure

if anyone is have flashing problem IE problems getting the flash tool working like i did at 1st
my cure was to do a factory default on device before flashing

Switched to flash mode with RKBatchTool 1.5
After this, with common tools flashed ok

WiFi isn't working well for me... "getting ip address" very often and when it finally connects, it stays connected for 5-10 seconds and then it re-starts connecting again.

That's a first report of this... my wifi is full bars.
Have you opened the case and tried the manual antenna fix?
Or is this problem only with this new Rom?

I have made the antenna fix mod long time ago (which I hate).

It happened with this new ROM only.

How can we make the external sdcard read as internal sdcard? I got more then 2gb of application data need to read from the internal sdcard.

If you need more room then you need the 8GB dongle.
Or solder on a 16GB internal chip.... ..... just kidding.

Or use an app move to SD card...

Hope that helps, but most of us use an external SD to get extra storage.
