    If you need some kind of log just tell me what kind and how i could pull it from the device and i will provide it
    Flash this kernel (1.03.01) and then provide a DMESG back to the forum if it is stable enough to grab one.

      same as before, no recognized ADB (not even USB) Device.

      "lsusb" and "adb devices" both return nothing.

      Is it ok to just flash the kernel? I unchecked all other options in RKAndroidTool

              I've no idea but I'd assume it is the loader that is the important factor not the kernel.

                works with 1-Chip Version, cant really say anything about performance just yet, looks like its running pretty smooth

                  Can you check battery drain? My tablet has already failed again so back to being 'blind' :-/

                      Haven't been able to play around with it yet, will look into it more in the next week

                      Edit:
                      Ok so a couple of things:
                      Touchscreen not responding upon boot, not sure if i just have to wait half a minute or so but right now it seems that i have to press the power button to switch the screen off and on again before i can enter my pincode.

                      Battery drain seems to be pretty heavy, right now im at 6h 54m ontime with 1h 27m screen on and im down to 22%

                      (Not sure if really kernel related, havent got time to do further testing, but it looks like my wifi speed is way lower than with the other kernel, cant get over 600kbps)

                      For more testing i will probably install something like better battery stats to look for wakelocks, and flash the old kernel to test wifi speed again

                      Edit2:
                      Aftermore testing yesterday it did not seem to use as much battery as i thought, it was able to play 6 more hours of video (without sound)
                      I charged my tablet overnight and this morning i saw that it was only ~50% charged. At first i thought it has to do with faulty batterystats so i booted into recovery to delete them and i wasnt able to control the recovery menu because it did not respond to any touch input (probably the same as with the normal boot)

                      Edit3:
                      Just charged it again to 100%, started a battery calibration app, unplugged the charger and it instantly jumped to 51%

                        Great! My tablet is running like never before! Thank you!!!

                        But I have the same problems as Peter with battery stats and the non-working touchscreen directly after boot.

                        @peterhugelberg: You can scroll through the recovery menu by long-pressing the return-button. But you will not find battery stats in the "advanced" section.

                        Edit: Yes, there is something wrong with the battery management in the new kernel. I used the app "battery calibration" that shows me - when fully charged - strange values, max. 48% and max 7500mV. When I use the old kernel from dnkn than the values are correct when charging: max. 100% and max. 4200mV (the tablet has 2 batteries but parallel so max 4,2V)

                          any plans for future development for this kernel?

                            It seems DNKN used a different battery driver to me (I used the default). I'm on holiday this week and so may be able to do something if I can find a better driver. Unfortunately the bandwidth here is tiny and so I doubt I can upload / download anything other than very small packages.

                            I've messaged DNKN for advice. In the meantime I see there is a config setting called vol3v8 which controls voltage. I have it switched on and the code should act on it and set:

                            Full charge voltage = 4120
                            power down voltage = 3600
                            normal = 3800

                            otherwise it would set:

                            Full charge voltage = 8284
                            power down voltage = 6900
                            normal = 7600

                            It seems that this code isn't executing correctly?

                              I've compiled the alternate (non-factory) ADC battery driver with debug here. If anyone is watching this thread please flash the kernel and then post up the DMESG then flash back to whatever kernel you were using before.

                                For comparison this is the debug version of the factory ADC battery driver I've used up until now
