hello again
I'm wondering is there any way to force Pipo to boot from the USB?
Just in case of Windows failure - for instance if there wouldn't be any possibility to set the booting from the external USB inside the Windows (in recovery menu).
During the boot I've tried hitting F11/F12 keys but the I failed to open boot menu.

Then using the BIOS "boot" options you can tell the Pipo to boot from USB stick.

You can use a tool such as HDD Raw Copy Tool to create the image.
When you need the recovery, you just have to restore the image to the USD drive

SD card can't be selected?
Originally posted by Finless View Post1) First thing is make a recovery disk! Have a USB memory stick, SDcard, etc ready. Plug it into your box and make sure it is recognized and you can see it. It needs to be 8GB at a minimum!
Why didn't it work for me on the SD card? Does it need a specific FS? Fat32 / Whatever to be recognized? Can't make the recovery image this way.

Disk cloning tool for backup system partition?
I used to create a full disk backup from my fresh Windows installations with Symantec Ghost. That's also possible with Pipo's partition, isn't it? Maybe it's the most easy way to get a full backup from the original system, and when I have the backup image, the recovery partition also becomes unnecessary and can be deleted. Or is it a bad idea?

You may also use a bootable USB installed Linux distribution to make the required backups.
