    Hard bricked Pipo S1 Pro

Hy guys. My Pipo got hard bricked so i did a little research how to unbrick it. So tablet did not respond when i push the power button or any other button. My comp didnt recognise the tablet when I plugged it into computer. I opened it up and short pinned NAND chip. Then computer detect it but didn't install the drivers for it so i installed it manually. Computer detect it as a Rockusb Device. In RKBatchTool i have a blue box, I try to use switch button but got an error. In RKAndroidTool v.1.37 on the bottom writes "Found Rkandroid MaskRom mode" but when i press "EraseIDB" after few second message pops up "Erasing IDB failed".
Can you guys help me because i'm out of ideas... Sorry for my bad English

Sounds like the same problem I have with mine, memory chip is bad. Nothing you can do to replace it, so you might want to read up on how to boot from and sdcard and see if that will work for it.

There is a post around here somewhere about booting from memory card. I haven't tried myself as I don't have a working linux computer.

If you want to try what I did to make mine work for a while at least, you can go through a long and painful process of resetting, plugging to usb, erasing nand, resetting, shorting pins for mask rom mode, flash rom, flash misc.img and booting, or some combination of steps to make it work. It's hard work and may not result in anything for your tablet if you only have one nand chip.

Or you could buy a new tablet, they make better ones these days. Pipo seems to have a problem with their memory going bad.
