My X7 will soon be an "Xbox One Mini"
With the new announcements of Xbox streaming to any Win 10 machine, I am even more excited about this box. ( http://gizmodo.com/man-i-cannot-wait...top-1680923652 ) I want to try the new Win 10 Tech Preview on this thing. Mine's currently in the post office about 10 miles from my house. While it will still need an Xbox One in the house, I can now extend it to all my TVs.Kent A

"Прости им, они не ведают, что творят"
"Perdona loro perché non sanno quello che fanno"
"Vergib ihnen, denn sie wissen nicht, was sie tun"
"Vergeef hen want ze weten niet wat ze doen"
"Pardonne-leur car ils ne savent pas ce qu'ils font"
"Perdónalos porque no saben que lo que hacen"
"Oprosti im, jer ne znaju što čine"
"Forgive them as they know not what they do"

Once downloaded, mount the ISO (right click mount). Run setup.exe, Accept the Terms, and select the Keep Apps and Files. That's it.Kent A

The Consumer Preview or TP2 was actually released a couple days ago. (http://www.computerworld.com/article...0-preview.html) It has a new version (9926) and includes the Contana (Hey Cortana is cool) and many of the new Universal Apps. I have installed it just moments ago to another laptop, and it adds some polish in a number of the new functions.
From what I am told, all Windows OS'es will get the free upgrade to Windows 10 in the first year. Delay and you'll miss the opportunity. The only question is what version will be free -- Standard, Professional, Enterprise.Kent A
