Im thinking of using the finless rom for the Tronsmart as I have been told it can be used for the riko aswell. Are there any instructions on flashing the rom as I cant find any? Also have to say really like this box. It is very quick. Best Android box I have used so far. Prefer it more than my firetv

If you select "product" in the pheonixcard tool, it flashes the Rom to internal memory (thats what i read there).
i´m still waiting for my mk80, would be nice if you let me know if it works (pretty sure it does).

Cheers going to try the dual boot option see how I get on.

What version did you order. I have the mk80 plus 4gb version. Very pleased with it so far. I liked my firetv but pain in the butt having to sideload everything using the pc and cant root it now since the latest update. Im usong that in the bedroom now.

Ordered the "plus" Version as well (4GB/32GB). I dont expect it to arrive this week, hope it´ll be there next week.

You will have a problem with a remote. There is a difference between Ricomagic and Tronsmart one. You have to correct it in build.prop.or somewhere else. I do not know exactly.

At the Tronsmart you have to use the stock remote config file
Device/System/Usr/KeyLayout/sunxi.ir.kl
at other roms....

got my rikomagic mk80 yesterday, now trying out roms for the draco (finless atm).
i´ve swapped the remote config (sunxi.ir.kl) from the rikomagic rom to finless but the mouse pointer and some keys are still not right. is there any other file i need to alter or replace for correct function?

I am using the homelet rom on mine and it is excellent.

Havn't tried the remote yet as using a little usb keyboard with touchpad. It all works fine though.

I highly recommend the homelet rom mate it is very quick and video playback is excellent.

Thanks for the hint! I already downloaded and will try it tomorrow. When i get home this weekend (i dont get home during the week) i will grab my bt keyboard and mouse. I dont like the remote that much but nevertheless, i would like to have it working correctly.
Would be cool to use a wiimote instead but i know it does not work in android 4.x

I was thinking about the remote to turn it on as there is no power button on my keyboard.

Luckily though when I turn my tv on the box automatically boots up which I thought was cool. Then you can easily shutdown with button on the bottom bar of the screen.

Also running the no frills cpu app which is suggested in the thread for that rom.

I installed using a 8gb sd card. I couldnt get it to copy to the card using the startup method even with the iso fix. So just installed as normal.

for the records:
i found out today, the mouse pointer settings are located in the build.prop.
lines to change for rikomagic mk80:

ro.softmouse.left.code=7
ro.softmouse.right.code=1
ro.softmouse.top.code=69
ro.softmouse.bottom.code=85
ro.softmouse.leftbtn.code=65
ro.softmouse.midbtn.code=-1
ro.softmouse.rightbtn.code=-1

replacing the sunxi.ir.kl is also neccessary.
remember to set rights for both files to 644.
if you do not (for build.prop), you will get a bootloop.
