Well I have created a proxy for it, just need to try and integrate it into the plugin now. I am about to finish emptying my office for painting so the plugin might have to wait a few days until I am finished but I will take a quick look.

Here is the proxy, not fully tested yet.

Nope, i am in the UK and we have some of the strictest rules you can get...

If you talk about strictest rules and I read about xbmc and torrent and I know you only should use torrent (file-sharing) at Germany if you have tooooo much money, I have to ask you, if you can give me some explanatory information...

At Germany streaming isn't a problem if you don't save content locally or, and this is more important, don't share it (judicially confirmed)...
Of course every streaming will also be saved, but only temporary and that's the argument why streaming isn't a problem (regardless of I never heard about only one judicial process if someone download an e.g. MKV at Germany (till now!))...

Now my question:
Can you explain, how these streams, e.g. like movie2k.tl or this XBMCtorrent, works?

I don't know much about different countries copyright laws but we all know that watching these streams is on the shady side.

I will give you one warning tho, popcorn time uses the torrent protocol, I would not advise using anything that uses the torrent protocol on the inbuilt nand, there is just too much read/write going on and will shorten the life.

No, of course you don't know about different countries copyright laws (I only explane the situation at Germany) but I want to know, if these sites also push data via the client (file-sharing) or do the client only pull data (streaming)...

Many read/write is another story... that's why also zero cache isn't a good idea (especially if you don't know how to map it to e.g. a SD card, or do it the wrong way)

Hey flumpster i think iv got MOVIE4K to work using your proxy i put your proxy in the movie4k default.ply file located in (kodi/addons/plugin.video.movie4k) in place of movie4kproxy.com & i almost fainted when it seems to work.Thanks for all the help im sure I will be calling on you again lol

I did have a quick look earlier before I stripped the office and I just changed the part in the py file for the uk proxy with my own proxy and then enabled that setting in the addon. I got it to scrape all the videos and info etc but when I tried to play anything it said playback failed. I didn't have time to spend on it so just left it at that until my office is finished.

Have you managed to get anything to play in there? If you have I wont bother with it.

Yes a lot do say playback failed or script error but some are working
