        I'm sure there are detailed instructions on the site which can be found with a little googling. Probably easiest to build using Linux on the target device itself (as in Linux for rk3288 rather than cross compiling from a pc running Linux).

        I noticed some time ago that the source for including the widevine DRM CDM in chromium for android is there. The required binary library is all that is missing. At least theoretically you should be able to build the chromium browser for android from source and include this library. Then you should be able to use Netflix in HD in the browser. I've been wondering ever since if some of the widevine libraries floating around which are from level 1 drm android devices could be used for this purpose. Haven't tested it though.

        Cheers,

          @Miskol

          Might give here a look: https://github.com/RockchipOpensourc...id-kernel-3.14. I would stick with 3.14 for all builds. Kernel migration for pretty much everything seems to be headed in this direction.

            These sources, they're good for android, Linux, and chromium OS? I don't really understand why there would be a preference for vpu development on chromium vs Linux. Wouldn't most chromium OS drivers be compatible with Linux running the same kernel, or is there more of a difference than that?

            Thanks,
