    Can I use MK808B Plus 24/24 7/7?

I have ordered the MK808B plus .. still waiting for it to arrive. I am planning to use it as a download torrent and media server which will run 24 over 24 and 7 over 7...

Can it be continuously on. Does this tv stick has overheat issues I should be aware of?

Nope good to go...very low power and very little heat.

TTorrent Pro works fabulous....and with it able to monitor a folder for files it is fantastic.

We had one on constantly for a week - no issues what so ever.

        MK808B Plus CPU temperature

@prahjister: Did you actually track CPU temperatures via some app? I've installed Xposed framework & "CpuTemp in statusbar" module, and my MK808B Plus is at 45° Celsius just after it boots to Homescreen, after some time of just sitting there at Homescreen it 52-55, and if I play Youtube video, or 720p/1080p hardware accelerated in MX Player or XBMC temperature is at 67-70. I wouldn't call that "very little heat". Yes the casing/plastic is not to warm but considering that my Nexus 4 after 30 minutes of playing the same video files is at 32-34° (which is the same temp it's usually on while using my phone for surfing, chat etc) MK808b Plus's SoC is almost burning up.

I'll probably try buying some miniature heath-sinks and thermal pad to lower the temps if possible, because I don't see this surviving a month of sitting idle or watching LOTR movies marathon in one go.
