can't say but the CE 2.2 version works flawlessly for me on my Minix X7 so if your Wesser KK isn't working as it should it is worth a go.

I am on the original version and it has been working fine other than some random crashes specially with XBMC where the screen will go black when starting the app. But other than that not much issue.

Has anyone had any trouble using the play store app.I installed this for a friend and he is telling me he cant register with google play store when he rnters his name and presses next it just hangs there.It is probably him doing something wrong just thought i woul d check here

Not had an issue running 2.1 nor 2.2 with the play store. I am using this version on 3 minix X7's now and all allow me to configure and use the play store just fine. Sounds like user error or perhaps needs a re-flash.

OTA update and root done in about 15 minutes (including download time). Excellent work @HardwareGuru, @gufone and @KAR.

A few hours of testing has revealed nothing out of the ordinary. Audio is fine (DD/DTS passthrough works), the system feels very responsive and all my old settings seem to be intact.

in the first page look root update fille and rename to update put it on a sd or flash drive and follow promt to install update on minix

OK - Installed on a Ugoos UT2 with a RK3188T chip yesterday and it's all working fine. MKVs seem a little choppy so maybe I need to edit the advancedsettings.xml with some buffering lines? Any suggestions?

FYI - BT, WiFi, Ethernet all working fine for those that have UT2s with RK3188 or RK3188T chips.

This is what I use. It is a slow and deliberate fill of the buffer for the least impact in playback while still filling up the buffer within say a minute:

    <readbufferfactor>2</readbufferfactor>
  </network>

I have gone up as high as <readbufferfactor>10</readbufferfactor> without any issues but when using 20, which is often recommended, it will often make the video stutter as these boxes just do not have enough processing power to do heavy I/O and playback at the same time.

The only thing I have found with this ROM is using a Minix A2 remote and installing an APK through ES File Explorer I can not select "Install" on the popup with the air mouse. I must use the dpad and highlight it and hit enter in order to continue and install. No matter what, the air mouse won't let me select that one specific dialog box.

Of course it works everywhere else and flawlessly lets me pick any other dialog box or file or icon with the air mouse. It's odd and not really a big deal and probably an ES Explorer issue but just pointing it out.
