Win 10 on Pipo X7 is it possible ?

In a nutshell....what's your impression of Windows 10?

Not bad actually.... Wife and I have been using Kodi on this box for a while now on Win 10.... Works REALLY WELL!

so the steps to correct installing Win 10 TP are the following :

1) Download Win10 TP ISO
2) Create Bootable USB KEY with Rufus
3) Install Win 10 TP in the largest partition without erasing the others
4) Install the drivers in your package
5) Sit on your couch and enjoy your Pipo X7

I presume if you made recovery partition backup you can delet it as well no?

The current one expires on April 15, 2015. I would expect another TP or prospective RTM release before that.

That's an old version mate. I am running version 9926 and that expires on Oct 1st 2015.

Problem, Problem....

I can not revert back to wondows 8.1. I installed windiws 10 on the larger partition. And made a recover usb.

Which does nothing?!?! It goes in a loop.
Everytime in the same menu.

So what happens if you plug in the recovery usb drive and boot from that?

How do I revert back changes to Windows 8.1 if I go according to above steps? Restory factory setting will not revert back to Windows 8, will it?
I've created Win8 system image and USB recovery disk (using creator within Windows) - is this the only way (besides installation from the scratch) I can revert back to Win8?

Do you guys think that Windows 10 is going to be free (for a year) for Windows 8 Bing users or they will charge us for upgrade?
I'm wondering after it will be released - are users with Preview version installed are going have to reinstall it from the scratch or transformation to final version will be done by the update?

I've been using windows 8 on the x7 for almost 3 weeks now and it has been running very well, Kodi works great. I would suggest you wait till the official release of windows 10 to upgrade.

Thanks for the answer bloatman, I don't even have the Pipo X7 for the moment (still using another X7, from Minix).
I'm still waiting the delivery to come but my question was really about why some users choosed to install the Win10 preview ? Is there any straight benefits to it (media management, performance, GUI...) ?
I won't install W10 the very first day as I want my device to be fully operational to serve my media at home but I'm still curious
