mk808b plus err timed out & wifi issues

Hello to all,

I bought a mk808b plus. Can't seem to find a solution on google. While searching i stumbled upon this forum. I get an error timed out when trying to browse with the stick. I have a 30 Mbit down connection and i use it via wifi. I have a second access point for better coverage around the house. I get the same message while connected to both points and showbox and other xbmc addons seem to take a long time to start streaming or do not work at all. Already updated the stick to the latest firmware.(not finless) just the stock firmware but can't seem to figure out what's wrong. It's suppose to work without an external antenna. I rebooted my modem. Change SSID. reset the stick. Same still error when using app. Everything takes a long time to load and i have several other tables and phones on the same network with no problems at all.

Try different power supply

I already hooked it up to my monitor instead of tv with a different usb cable. What does a power supply have to do with wifi speed?

I dont know the theory behind it...I just know enough clean current helps with my experience with the mk808b original. I also ordered 10 b pluses and out of 10 2 had bad power supplies...Crazy rebooting and wifi connection issues. Moved to usb supplied by tv and it started working properly.
