    NEW CS918 2015 STOCK ROM FOR NEW PCB

    I HAVE MADE A DUMP OF MY CS918 QUAD CORED 1GB/8GB THAT I GOT FROM CHINA WITH A NEW PCB THAT I HAVEN'T FOUND ON HERE SO I MADE A DUMP OF THE STOCK ANDROID 4.4.2 ROM AND TOOK PIC OF THE NEW BOARD FOR ANYONE THAT HAS THIS BOARD YOU CAN FLASH BACK TO STOCK USING THE FILES INCLUDED IN THE ZIP FILE I USED MEGA TO UPLOAD FOR FASTER DOWNLOADS FOR YOU GUYS HOPE THIS HELPS SOMEONE MAKE A OVERCLOCK KERNEL FOR THIS DEVICE OR A COMPATIBLE ROM FOR THIS DEVICE

      Im not sure some cpu apps says 2gb memory but only 1024 usable so im not sure it will work i have tried almost every rom in this section and none will boot i have already bricked one by flashing roms with diffrent rk3188 loaders since u cannot backup or dump the loader unless i have the offical stock rom from manufactor so make sure u make a dump of your device first then u can flash this and use your kernel and boot img from your device and when it finish unplug usb and power then plug in power cord while holding recovery press the power button wait about 10 seconds should turn blue the andriod guy should show up to factory reset and it will reboot to andriod first boot takes about 10 mim but remeber to make a backup of your device before trying anything i have stated i have only gotten one finless rom to boot but wifi bluetooth and ethernet wasnt working and i had to flash my boot img kernel and misc images to make it boot after a factory reset

              I think that I have the same CS918 that cs918king. Mine has come without Heatsink, only is the silicone pad. I have already solved it.

                  what do you mean they arent really helpful? did you save the image and zoom in you can ready everything on the board and there is no CS918 imprinted anywhere on the board and just to update the board is CS918 V2.6 as i recived another one in the mail and dump the firmware from it and it was the exact same as this board in the op but came with the pcb marked CS918 V2.6 so now my question is is there a firmware that would run on this board

                    At the OP, if you will remove the ""heatsink"" I think you will find the printed information...
                    (But without this printed information it isn't really helpful)

                    because the pcb at the last post is another one than at the OP

                    Are you sure both using the same stock rom (especially same kernel (e.g. binary compared))?

                      The PCB from the last post I did a dump of the firmware and restored it to the PCB In the original post and it boot correctly with WiFi Bluetooth and ethernet working rooted it and it works perfect I also did a dump of the original PCB in the original post and restored it to the PCB in the last post and it booted and work with everything and re rooted it so yes they are both the same boards

                          I have tried to introduce this rom in a Cs918 v2_6 20140929 and it seems that it works quite.
                          CS918 v2_6 20140929 has 1GB, the **** seller was saying that 2GB. Claim to the seller.

                              On first boot its going to hang on andriod screen uplug and plug then hold the recovery press power while still holding recovery and it will factory reset and boot into andriod when I flashed wasser firmware and flash back mine hung on andriod then after factory reset it booted right up see if that works and let me know
