As well as a red light on the power brick in the wall socket.

    If no
try another power adaptor 5v 2a most newer phones and tablets fit this requirement.
If you do have the lights. Do you get light next to hdmi port in back of the box.
Try another hdmi cable or adaptor
Try another tv or Computer monitor.

Mine Just works and it actually powered on before i plugged it in as this box has a BATTERY Inside
The power brick is red. I've tried another power brick from my Onda tablet. The blue light on the front is on and solid. On the back there's no light next to the HDMI port but there is a tiny green LED next to the power / micro USB. I've tried another TV and also tried 2 other cables from K-R42 boxes I owned. All 3 cables are known to be working.

This sounds like the same issue the guy is having above. The light nextto my hdmi is my usb to Ethernet (oops)

The only thing i could think of is Assuming i am correct (could be totally wrong)

      Try this

Not sure it will Give you a Display. For some reason i think the problem above is the device reverted back to Touch panel only ..
If not You will Probably have to contact geekbuying.. IF any of the above work or they give you a solution post here please..

I see you mentioned you tried another TV did you try a monitor just in case its in a bizarre mode.

If the Blue power light is on as in running of battery, hold power button for 20 seconds it should power down. Re-plug Monitor, power, then switch on long shot.
        Cheers

I tried it on a 3rd Monitor, 1600x900 and it booted up after unplugging everything and holding the power for 20 seconds like you said. Thank you. The only issue now is that after the windows 8 boot screen the screen goes black and the video again goes out of sync

Its booting in 1080 and looks like the monitors cant handle the resolution 1920 x 1080....good excuse to buy a new monitor , find a friend or neighbor that may have 1920 x 1080 and you can then set/lower the resolution. (new monitor sounds better).
            Cheers

I attempted it on a 1080p monitor and a 1080p tv first. It's now booting into windows on my TV using a 5th cable (the previous cables work just fine on all the other boxes that have a mini HDMI) I'm going to do some updates and hopefully it'll make it a bit more stable. Thanks for the help everyone. I really appreciate it.

Here's the weird part, all the other cables are about 1meter long. The one that works, about 8"inchs including the HDMI connectors. It's the only cable that works.

Not all mini HDMI are equal obviously, specs mention 1.4 on the VOYO, but who knows.
Others may have been made to a price and not a standard.
                      least your working
                      Cheers

yes that seems to be the case. One more question. My VOYO doesn't have an POST screen. As soon as it turns on it's going right into the Win 8.1, I don't get an option to press DEL or ESC to enter a Bios/UFI. Any ideas how to get into it?

It does boot quickly and delete key is the one that works,
You may need to be quicker or the resolution of post is not supported by your monitor/TV ?
I see post but it is gone within 3 seconds or so from power on, then the win8.1 logo then windows
Power on and tap that delete key then look don't fiddle to much if it works
                          Cheers

They set the timeout inside the BIOS to 1 or 0 seconds. Right after pressing the power button on the box keep pressing DEL or ESC and you may be able to get into the BIOS, in the Boot section there should be a timeout option for the POST screen. You'll need a USB keyboard to do this not a wireless one of course.

I think that in windows 8 there is an option to reboot the system using a different device, it's the equivalent of going into the bios. But it would be better if you first change the POST screen timeout.
                            Try this: http://www.howtogeek.com/126016/thre...-options-menu/

I know some devices can be picking with HDMI Cables.I Bought 3 cheap(1.50 each) HDMI Cables From amazon . I THINK They are branded amazon basic ... Have them on all my tvs and this box works on them

Glad its working for you now.. Just be VERY Careful in the bios some have bricked there device by settings changes

That's me tried everything but a teardown and checking the underside. No combo of keys different HDMI cable nor monitors get it going. Looks like to me that it's in touch screen mode as it doesn't even send a light to the keyboard.
