It is obvious that PiPo X7 must somehow convert 12V to 5V to feed the USB ports.

There is a chance that something was burned in that circuit, that probably costs about US $0.1.

    Edit:

I hope that you have not fiddled with the BIOS and did not even bother to report it in this thread.

If you have disabled USB support from within the BIOS, it is 100% your fault that the USB ports are not working.

Since the device has only USB keyboard and mouse support, if you select to disable USB support from within the BIOS, you are locking yourself out.

On every other occasion, you should be fully entitled to a replacement from the manufacturer.

Exactly what happened to me. I fiddled about with the BIOS and locked myself out. Luckily I had Remote Desktop access to the box and was able to reinstall the BIOS from within windows and get the original settings back. I would highly recommend people do that BEFORE messing about with the BIOS.

Guys, I have the same problem with USB ports, they stopped working out of a sudden. In my case, however, they remained powered (cell phone charging, optical mouse under power) - but all usb devices are inactive in Windows (wired USB mouse, keyboard, flash drive, HDD) and there is no way to control the device. The situation persists after reboot, switch off/on. I managed to reboot with attached USB keyboard and jump into BIOS and there it works!! So what do you think? Shall I boot from a recovery flash drive and try to reinstall the system completely? Any other idea?

          Thanks for help.
