I have a problem using this firmware.
I can't get YouTube to work. I live in Germany if this is necessary. I tried several fixes as shown at the internet, but none of them worked. I tried a static ip, dns 8.8.8.8., clearing the cache and date of YouTube app and Google services, reinstalled the app but nothing. Any browser won't play YouTube videos either. Another video site called myvideo.de works, so I think it's YouTube specific.

Working firmwares are those till 20141219 but none after this date.

Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.

I tested the news firmware "20150318" for DRACOMETA

hey all, for (20150318 Stock Firmware For Draco AW80 Android 4.4) :

ok, the firmware is good.

- all video (in sd card or streaming), perfect
- all video in player video is, perfect
- youtube is perfect
- youtube tv is perfect
- all in all, everything works good

But :

there is always a fuzzy bar at the bottom in the video, low quality (in video streaming).

With videos 1080p, 720p, dvdrip, xvid, there is no problem now, everything works fine.

and

all videos stuttering a little, (in all video player, in sdcard, in streaming, ...).

If tronsmart, correct the stuttering problem in videos, the DRACOMETA, will be back on track.

it is not possible to completely test the firmware,

- the keyboard "logitech r400", keyboard is ok , but the pad (mouse) does not work.

The video 1080p with Android 5.0 is very very good, this is really promising.

Please describe exactly what does not work.
At first i had a problem too. When trying to play any video on yt, i got a message that the video cant be played.
It seems like setting the right timezone fixed it. The default timezone is chinese time.

Now YouTube works! I changed my build.prop with a modified one of GJayjayG. I think it was up to the submitted region or model name.

You can find your build.prop in /system and modify it with an editor. I took this one and it works now. I don't know if some settings could have been better in the meantime...

I don't understand why Tronsmart will not make this available directly from the Tronsmart aw80 automatic update, or Tronsmart website live the previous updates?

Thanks for this ROM.

I run the MK80, and after the Remote fix, also from this thread, it works like a charm. XBMC offers PassThrough and video is smooth.

One question though: The version of XBMC in this ROM, is it patched in any way? Only your version will allow PassThrough. Any other version of XBMC, KODI or SPMC will either play stereo or the usual noise.
