Increase app storage - repartition storage for Cube Talk 9X U65GT

Hi

I’ve just got my Cube Talk 9X 32GB and what a great device.
I’ve rooted it with Root Genius and would now like to increase app storage space and flash Lepi’s custom rom.

Do I do it in that order or makes no difference?

If I increase from 2GB to say 20GB what does that mean? Does it mean I have 20GB for the system and app downloads (including any custom rom I flash). What is the remaining storage used for? Photos, documents, music, data cache etc. Or is 20GB too much app space. What is the ideal app storage space or is this dependent on what I intend to download or store.

Following the instructions.
Is Titanium Backup the preferred method to back up apps to the cloud or external sd card?
Are ADB drivers installed as part of Root Genius? I remember seeing something like this come up on the screen.

U65GT 16 GB owner here. What will happen to all my installed apps if I extend the Internal memory?
Is this procedure best done if tablet is reset to factory settings?

I bought U65GT 16 GB for my daughter (don't care about phone feature). I found out too late that there's very little room for apps.
I would like to know if the method you suggest here and the files you provide work for any firmware version.

EBR1 and EBR2 works for any ROM version of Cube talk 9x

I have two Cube Talk X9 tablets, one was upgraded to 6Gb app storage in October 2015 by Aaron Zhang of Cube Australia, who now appears to have vanished into the ether, I cannot contact either of them. I am faced with having to do the firmware upgrade myself, but I have never attempted anything like this before. Our tablets are the 32Gb variants and I have downloaded the EBRs for the 32Gb version. However, reading the instructions in the first post of this thread I am quite nervous about the process as I do not understand the terminology ...
1. What does "EBR" stand for ?
2. What are "ADB drivers" and where do I get them from ?
3. How do I "Run as administrator SP Flash Tool" ? Is that run on the tablet or on my PC ? Where does the SP Flash Tool come from ?
4. In step 3 it says "Click scatter file and point the browser to the location of the scatter file ......" What are "mtk droid tools" ?
This process sounds horribly complex and liable to brick the tablet, then I would be in deep trouble as the tablet belongs to my wife.
Can anyone help me out with some clearer instructions for this process ?

I followed the instructions of your post on SP flashTool. I got problem with unable to mount "System, Cache, Data, Internal SD Card, etc." and it can't install ROM or start up any more! Any help?
