ADB drivers for Windows 7 64bit ?

Has anyone got ADB drivers to install successfully on Windows 7 64bit?
I have the fastboot driver working, but I can't get the ADB driver to install for my 7c G2.

The device is listed in device managers "other devices" as "Arnova 7C G2" five times, but I can't find a driver that works with adb.

I have tried forcing the google "adb composite device" to each of the 5 devices in device manager but it still doesn't work

Yes I did. It was a major PAIN. I had to force install. I do not remember the exact steps now butw hen you go to do it choose let me pick (chose "other" device or something like that) and then have disk and browse to the driver.

Seemed to have a rogue adb.exe in windows folder for some reason which was conflicting!

I installed the adb driver for my arnova 7 G2 and it is now listed as "android composite adb interface". But when i do "adb devices" I see an empty list. I'm on windows 7 64bit. Am I missing something?

Not sure which driver you loaded? I used the generic one from google.
In the device manager I have:
Android Phone
|_ Android ADB Interface

can you give them or give a location? I used the adb drivers from teh arnova website

Also you need to let ADB know your device. Do this

create a file: adb_usb.ini in the following directory:
Windows 7: C:\Users\<user>\.android

Enter following code in the ini file:
0x0e79

You should be able now to execute:
adb start-server

The official drivers from google are not working. I'll stick to the Arnova drivers I think
