Tested with permissions all set "rwxrwxrwx", same error message at insmod.

After reading that post on slatedroid, it appears that KO is not for this kernel.

Let me see if I have one for Jellybean 4.1

Try disabling any network, use advanced task killer to kill everything you possibly can.

If you are using terminal emulator try using the adb shell instead.

Running out of options without trying it myself.
Can you? You don´t need the actual device, as the error occurs already before I plug it in. The driver can be found here:

        Thanks,

Only thing I have is a axis.ko module compiled for JB kernel 3.0.8+

          See if it works.

Tried it, this time getting a different error message at insmod:

insmod: init_module "asix.ko" failed (Exec format error)

I am still running your 1.6 ROM, haven´t upgraded to 1.7 yet. Shouldn´t matter, but just in case.

I can give it a go, I've done a bit with linux but must admit I'm no android expert. Not got time tonight but will try and have a go in the week. Although to be honest it sounds like Bob thinks it's for a different version so it might be a non starter without recompiling.

Why do you think so? As I read the thread, it should be for 3.0.8+, and somebody mentions he got the driver running on a MK802 III.

                  Any luck, nbuuifx?

After the alternative "USB 2.0 to RJ45 LAN Ethernet Network Adapter" that I bought from geekbuying.com turned out to be only USB 1.1 and thus limited to ~6Mbps throughput (unusable for 1080p videos), I would really like to get this HG20F9 device working, as it´s a real USB 2.0!

                  Thanks,
                  Markus

                    Hello,

Did someone recompile this driver for kernel 3.0.36+
Can some share it, or how does remcompile works?

If anyone is interested - I got my stick with a driver cd. Including android sources. I'm a noob when it comes to compiling though...

Yep - It's on a mini-cd. Android, linux, mac and windows drivers. As far as I can see the android driver needs to be compiled with the included scripts but I don't have any experience in doing so. I don't know how to compile for different kernels or - to how to compile at all
Do you want me to post the zipped cd (112MB) somewhere? Is there a place here on Freaktab to put it?

                              Hello.
I also have no ID how it works.
I have also a cd, but there is only linux drivers on it, so I was try to compile to android in ubuntu but no success.
maybe you can share it on mega or dropbox.

Ok here you'll find the zipped driver cd:

I'd appreciate it if someone lets me know how to get this thing working on my CX919!

                                Good luck!
