I normally make my ROM kits with 2 gig apps space but can do 4 if you'd prefer.

Please try a full flash of the stock ROM with my boot and system.

When you do this can you describe in detail what happens after flash.

Does it boot to recovery.
What boot images display on the normal boot.

This will give me clues as to where I need to look.

OK,
Yesterday I haven't try to boot from recovery.
After flash boot stuck on 1st image, since there were no animation at all.

Thinking on this I may have increase the size of system.img beyond the space allocated in the stock parameter file. I'll upload a modified parameter file later.

I have made that mistake a few times! Caused me to scratch my head as to why it wouldnt boot until I figured it out....

I noticed the huge size of your file, what i didn't know is that there is specified a max space allocated.

Yes the parameter file specifies the length and location of each part of the file system. I've a few family commitments but will get an adjusted parameter file uploaded today.

Attached is an updated parameter file. Please try a full flash with this parameter file and my boot, recovery and system.

What I've done so far:

• On a formatted and clean Stock ROM

Flash with:

1. Custom
   Parameter, Boot, Recovery and System;
2. Stock

Misc and Kernel.

Boot into recovery.

Fast and clean.

• New format and flash with same files.

Boot into recovery with:

1. E:Can't mount /cache/recovery/command
2. E:Can't mount /cache/recovery/log
3. E:Can't open /cache/recovery/log
4. E:Can't mount /cache/recovery/last_log
5. E:Can't open /cache/recovery/last_log

After reboot I got an Encryption unsuccessful message, system ask to reset tablet and after this reset all is ok.

Do you want me to do any other specific tests?

For me 2 gig are enough, but as I intend to spread the word @ BQ community, it's your call.

• Movie Studio
• News & Weather
• OfficeSuite
• SoundRecorder
• Update

Maybe others that we can later add with the amazing AppInjector

2. does the ROM tablet work well?
3. do gameloft games run on it?Men In Black 3 is free and enough to test this.
4. do you have root.

As to removing more apps, I like to leave file explorer within my ROMs and i really like esfileexplorer. If you go into settings on esfileexplorer you can enable root settings and browse and edit the /system/ heirachy. If you do this you will be able to remove the unwanted apps by browsing to /system/app and deleting the apks you want to remove. I'd advise doing one at a time and re-boot after each removal. let me know what you remove and if the tab is still useful.

Two more requests:

After boot Tablet starts on Portrait and then go to Landscape view, with Stock after flash it does this only for the 1st time it boots, now it does this always.

Can we have the reboot App options on power menu?
