Making my X5 ROM

    There are a couple things that must be done to get Gameloft games work and showing up in the market.

    1) Build.prop edits to fool Gplay store that you are something else
    2) A patch to frameowrk to fool the license check.

    I am testing this stuff now. Since I do not have Asphalt 7 I am working with wonder zoo which right now crashes to desktop due to failed license check. However I think I have it now

    Stay tuned... I hope to have a ROM for you all this week.

      Gameloft is working!

      YES BABY!

      Example Wonder Zoo now works!

      I got gameloft games to at least load instead of dropping to the desktop! Now as for touch screen only games, I cannot fix that 100%. But there are quite a few solutions out there like joystick center 6, etc.

      This ROM is going to rock guys (better now than my current TV sticks ROMs)..... Now that I got that done, a few more things to do and I will have my first release probably today.

            OK I know what exfat is at least in the windows world. Never heard of it on Android. Do you know of some Android device that has it? It is owned by microsoft so I would guess the answer is no due to licensing?

            BD iso. Again I have never heard of this on Android? Have you?

            As for 7.1 audio... I think you can forget that. This is a well known Android limitation. I understand Android 4.2 will support this so we just have to wait. But the real question is will the RK3066 hardware support it? I have never got a good answer to that. I have a "feeling" it will require the latest RK hardware that is coming soon. I could be worng though.

              Finless, is any way to do something with game "Bad Piggies"? I don't known what is happen but this game run properly but buttons in game do not respond when we click them. Why? For example Angry Birds works properly but Bad Piggies not I send you PM with direct url to Bad Piggies game.

                You need to use RK Remote app and use your phone or a tablet. These TV players have no touch screen and this game only allows touch screen.

                              I have been trying to fix the ethernet thing with "no internet connection".

                              Am I missing something? Did Minix release another new firmware since 1/17? 1080 resolution? the 1/17 ROM was not.
