Uninstall the Driver when he ask delete it. Reboot
Install the Driver new and then connect the Device.

So I've managed to get it connecting to xp using VMware on my mac. So I installed the drivers and opened the tool but it said 'No Found RKAndroid rock USB'

Thinking something was wrong I closed the app, unplugged the device and tried again, now when I plug the device the light doesn't come on and isn't picked up by windows, do I need to push the reset button again?

Ive plugged the device back into the tv and it is still working so I haven't broken it!

Good news. I am curious about how you are proceeding so soon. The last news I saw from Rikomagic and others using the Rockchip RK3066 was that they were still awaiting a new firmware from Rockchip to fix 1080p support with hardware acceleration. How can you build a custom ROM with 1080p now?

By the way, I really like your 720p ROM.

I have mk802IIIS and mk808b, ps3 controller but no knowledge how to do to work...
Can somebody explain to me how I can do because I've read everything everywhere but I did not understand how it works and what i need! I don't have android smarthphone!

Finally managed to get this installed, had to use terminal to get into flash mode!

hey man , do we have editable resolution setting this time? i will happy to see 1680x1050 cos my monitor reqire so. current version, i can only set 1080x720 and all goes a little bit larger.

Sorry to say you can Technical only get HD Resolution this mean only
720p or 1080p witch means 1280x720 or 1920x1080.
What you can try is to change the DPI Setting to 240 and make the Text Font under Settings smaller.

I've given up internal wifi already. It's crap. No matter which rom I use.
End up plugging an external wifi dongle, and it's rock solid. Couldn't be more happier.

I'm using tplink tl-wn823n (realtek 8192cu).

Do the follow:

Put the ko File with Root Explorer Lite into /system/lib/modules/
change the premission to 644
now go to /etc/init.d/
open the 0001 file
add this line

insmod /system/lib/modules/yourkofile.ko

Save it Reboot
Now it should work :-)
