Sometimes an easy solution is a good solution. Following a tip I read somewhere I tried Firefox and it is working to launch the BBC iPlayer streams. Neither the default browser or Chrome work but Firefox is okay for some reason.

Now all I need to do is find the flash apk I uninstalled so I can reinstall it.

          Sixaxis controller on the X5

          Hi everyone,

This may be a very stupid question but, how do I set up a sixaxis controller on the X5? I am running the Finless 1.0 Rom.

          Thanks in advance

            Hi!

I'm having problems with a USB drive formatted with HFS+ format. I tried installing PAragon NTFS & HFS+ but it gives me a 255 error: read-only. But the drive is not read-only. This is the app:

I also tried these apps, but none of them worked:

Do you think this ROM has something to do with it? Anyone could try these apps and HFS+? I'd really appreciate it.

            Thank you!

The ROM supports NTFS native. Most JB ROMs these days do.

I have not tried HFS+ myself.

Can you mount a drive and then open a terminal emulator and type this
              su
              mount

It should list all mounted devices. Give me that output.

It's because it is not mounting it! I do not know much about HFS+ but are not some kind of permissions (login etc) needed to do that?

I know it's not mounting it, that's why I asked ;-) I think it has something to do with the ROM. This app mounts HFS+ drives, but it's not working on my Minix with this ROM:

I always get a 255 error. Somebody here with an HFS drive to test it?

                    Thank you!

Did you try the stock ROM then? My bet it wont work on that either.

At this point maybe providing a dmesg and logcat dump might help.

I guess I'm going to have to restore the stock ROM and test it. Sorry but I have no idea about what dmeg and logcat are :-/

Do you think the issue with the app Paragon NTFS and HFS+ has something to do with not having the FUSE kernel module?:

Paragon NTFS and HFS+ for Android cannot be used by every device. It requires a rooted device with a kernel that has the FUSE kernel module – CyanogenMod roms should include this module, however. The app is available for free from Google Play.
                          Thanks!

CWM is not installed on my ROM. But it is easy to do:

I just do not know if it will work for the X5 as I have not tried it yet.

As for the other stuff, I do not have any reboot or freezing issues myself. But I have upgraded the power supply to a 3 amp unit.
