Got a replacement from seller after original stock psu 5v 2a died.
measured with multimeter it gives 5.25V 3.75A although supposed to be 5v 2a.

so can only say sometimes it all depends on luck!?
How you get 3,75A? the current must be measured with a charge connected!!!

Of course it is connected to wall power outlet. if not there is nothing to measure.
Did it again and this time it gives 5.26V, 1.3A.
So as i said in another thread, these sticks can be very inconsistent.
Only hoping that it is not a sign its going to die again.!

The stock power supply has usually bad quality, I allways suggest to use a good quality one. If you read a bit for the forum there are some models suggested by user and tested that works well.
I can, assure you that no stock power supply will give you 3,75A in the dc side. 1,3A is more or less the maximum amperage it can give. And with noise and unstability

          ATX Power Supply

          Hi All,

After all this talk about power supplies............which ones work......which ones do not.....counterfeits.......it gets kind of overwhelming.

I think most of us have at least one ATX power supply lying around somewhere. They can be modded to be pretty much the same thing as a low end lab power supply that has overload protection built right in, and even a 500W model can be reasonably priced with high efficiency. The voltage rails are incredibly stable. Giving nice, clean DC current even at high loads.
