cwm recovery zip for the new libstagefright.so

I made a cwm flashabe zip to update to the new version. Simply download the zip, copy it your sdcard or external_sd and flash it with cwm recovery.

I tested it and works fine for me, but i suggest to make a backup of your actual rom in external_sd before you flash anything. So if something go wrong you can recover your actual ROM easy.

ADVICE: ONLY FOR RK3066 DEVICES.

Like Bob said, we add the new mali libs in /system/lib/egl and all stagefright stuff in a new zip.
New roms by Finless will add this new feature, so no need to install this patch.

I had to remade the zip cause I use the old libstagefrigh.so lib.

This new zip works in mk808 and mk808b.

The one i did before named ug802... Was wrong, I used the old lib. This one must work.

Hi guys,

Just to share my experience with the zip update from sd for libstagefright.so.

I have a clone of UG802 with finless 1.7 rom and finless cwm recovery. After flashing the zip file with updated libstagefright.so the device reported - update successful but after reboot it got stuck on bootscreen. Had to make the whole process with shortening the pins and reinstalling recovery ug802 recovery rom and now I am back to 1.7 finless.
Not sure I want try to make the update again though.
Just sharing my case with others. Not saying its generally not working

thanks a lot for your report, some people talk about issues replacing the lib manually, issues like boot-loop or boot stuck. I don't know why is this. But if you replaces the lib manually, i think that it will the same, and result must be the same.

This might be fixable by using the egl drivers from my 1.7 ROM in /lib/egl
As well as all the stagefrightxxx.so files from 1.7 in /lib

ok i have the zip to test the new lib in ug802 devices and clones, please is a test file for the people who can´t boot after change the libstagefright.so, like Bob said, lets try to add the new mali libs in /system/lib/egl and all stagefright stuff.
I check that the zip works, but i cant test in the ug802 and clones.

i will be testing it in 2 days due i broke the micro usb connector when did try to flash it. so i will need to wati grrrrrrrrrrrrrrr
