I found the information on another website:

Go through the default Email (non G-mail) app and set-up your gmail account with your username (including @gmail.com) and password

Click Manual Set-up (and when it asks what method click Exchange):

This is how it has to be set-up:

"Domain\Username: \(user)@gmail.com
Password: (password)
Server: m.google.com

Notice how Google is underlined, it's because it's NOT gmail.com, android.com, googlemail.com, and any other Google owned domain like I had tried via other help pages.

I hope this helps others not to feel as stupid as I do now that I realize how close I was to the answer and how obvious it should have been."

You can remove your google account from syncing with the default e-mail app easily.

Now, I wonder if there's a way to install default support (in terms of the apk).

I'll look for an APK from the Honeycomb 2.3.1

OK folks... rolling my new 1.4 ROMs out for all the tabs I know how to crack. You guys were next.

Anyway here is the link to my new 1.4 ROM. I think you will find it a big improvement over 1.3 and a lot faster!

I have a Polaroid "pmid701i 13" it doesnt seem to be a Rock USB device says its a VID_1f3a_PID_efe8
driver included in the zip. windows wont load, it did load the one from polaroid....
can anyone point me to my mistake or to a patcher that will see my device

or is there a way to use the LiveSuite loader to load a clean google compatible image?
