    WiFi notification bar info 00:00:00:00:00:00

Hi guys, I'd like to thank Bob for this great rom, it really made the iMito MX1 a great product!

I noticed that when I click on the bottom right corner (to check the notifications) this strange address (ipv6?) is displayed. Does it happen to someone else? The Wifi works great, and the correct address is shown under Settings -> Wifi.

I'm running Finless 1.7a 720p on an original iMito MX1.

    Screenshot attached!

Mine on the 1.7a Mk809ii does the same thing. Doesnt seem to affect how it works though. No problems.

I believe it displays the ipv6 address instead of the wifi network name, no problems here neither.

Does it happen to everybody so?

I only get that when the lock screen is up. It is some left over on the lock screen and I can probably fix it.

You guys are not seeing this any other time correct?

My lock screen is disabled, and it shows exactly as pictured above at all times. I have never seen anything but the 00:00:00:00:00:00 in the info bar. I dont remember what it displayed on stock rom. Only been testing for 2 days now though, lol. Great rom Bob, btw.

Mine does not show that at all!
For me it shows the date and time and a battery percent of 50%

Possibly you are not getting time set from your internet connection?
It's gotta be something like that causing this.

I am getting the same thing on my UG007. I saw the same thing with the stock ROM as well.
I have my lockscreen disabled (doesnt change the behavior when it is enabled either). The name shows correctly under settings -> wifi though.
My time is being adjusted correctly from my internet connection. Its just that the network name has always shown all 0's.

I wish I could reproduce this

I really would like to know if this happens after a CLEAN flash of a ROM and settings up wifi.
Makes me wonder if some APP is trying to report to the status window and it's not the ROM.

I can tell you this was the case with a clean flash of the stock rom for the UG007 (did it a few factory resets on stock too). I dont know about your ROM though cause i did dirty flash.

I could try a factory wipe later tonight though.

Now I get what you said... I can see the battery percentage on the lock screen too.

It is strange that you can't see it on your homescreen.

I've got the ICUBE mk809II, i tried Bob's 1.7a, and i also got no MAC address and no IP address, I still had internet, and while the ROM ran, it wasnt as fast as the stock rom that came with it, the browsers were really laggy, and it was a bit unstable, I stuck with that for over a week as i wanted the 1080p kernel, it led to a fair bit cussing, as it was quite a lot slower than the original rom, and would crash occasionally.

Yesterday, i relented and tried 1.7b, i now get a MAC address and an IP address, the ROM is far more stable and its as fast as the stock rom. The browsers are back to being pretty snappy, and Chrome which was unusable due to the slowness. So maybe try 1.7b.

Also on my 37inch LCD TV cant really notice the 720 upscaling on 1.7b, it looks about the same as the 1080p kernel, though that could be my eyesite.

Everything is now working brilliantly even HD content is streaming over the wireless using solid explorer and mxplayer, which it didnt on 1.7a and the mk802II stock rom. The only thing that still isnt is a usb lan adaptor, which works but runs at half the speed of the wireless... ie useless, but i've posted about that elsewere.

On MX2 with 1.7b things seem normal to me. See attached

Can it be ethernet related? I don't have it and I never connected an ethernet USB dongle.
