Hi Bob,
Thank you for the 1080 Kernel! I use the MK mostly to watch my pictures.
It is a pleasure now to watch them in true 1080 resolution, not being
squeezed through a 720 kernel. Trivially, the system is a bit slower now,
but that is no mayor problem for me.

It's magic
Finless you made me register myself just to thank you. the kernel works great, display quality is true 1080p only thing is the boot screen starts full screen then shrinks down in size, which is really not a problem but the kernel is great.gif "HELL YEA!!")

4.2.2 kernel will be available ASAP!
Guys I just cracked the new 4.2.2 kernels!
That is I patched the stock kernel to 1080P.
I now will have 4.2.2 JB 1080 kernels for you very soon. First successful flash of true 1080 for me.gif "Bacon Dance")

FIRST EVER (I think) MK808B Original 1080P JB4.2.2 kernel!
OK folks... As I said I would do other kernels for 1080P.
I am pretty sure this is the first 1080P kernel for the MK808B Original and Jelly Bean 4.2.2
I have updated the first post in this thread with the links for download.
But for lazy folks, here it is.
1080P kernel for Jelly Bean 4.2.2 like my Finless 2.0 JB 4.2.2 ROMs
ROM -> MK808B Original - Finless 1080P Kernel for - Jelly Bean 4.2.2 (3 megs)

So you now have the best I can give right now with NO sources.....

Again I have to give some thanks to Dero for showing me how to hack at binaries. While his info was interesting, it did not give all the answers! I basically reverse engineered what he did for 4.2.2 (3.0.36+) kernels. It was VERY different than his post on what to do but the basic idea was there. THANKS Dero! I could not have done it without your unique post on how you did it. Yet again... only a LITTLE BIT applied to the 4.2.2 kernel.....
Can I say one thing.... MAJOR PAIN IN THE ASS!
But again, it was a challenge for sure...... One that I enjoyed going after. My Wife was not too happy though
I am expecting many others to ask.... SHOW ME HOW..... One day I will when free time is available!
By the way... I now think I can do custom resolution kernels!
PLEASE don't nag at me for them, I will do my best to follow up on posts asking for them!
