You need to register to download from the site. When you have done that enter your details on the logon part but you must also select the small button remember me that is where you enter your password. Now log in and you will be able to download.

Need help restoring tab....
One question is there a way to use the rk29 update tool to update another tablet same model with the factory update rom. I had also went and install Bob's rom thinking the problem wasn't the screen.The screen on it isn't working and inorder for it to be repair I have to put the original factory rom back on it.Comment

Tablet stuck at splash screen
Maybe someone can help me here. My daughter's tablet running v1.3 is stuck on the splash screen. Will never go past it, Ive tried going into recovery which I think is done by holding volume up, and then hitting reset for a couple seconds. Anyone else have any problems with this version of the ROM? Any help is appreciated.

Did you follow the instructions and erase IDB and click the loader box in the flash tool?
This ROM is proven to work on the P7200 so if that is what you have it should work.

Ok, got into recovery and it says e:can't open /cache/recovery/command. It will let me scroll through the menu but not select any commandsComment

Why are you messing with recovery? It does not really do anything on this ROM or the stock ROM anyway. It is a neutered recovery system to keep people from messing up the tablet.

Gotcha, I was just messing with it because at one time the Rom worked, but now just won't go past the splash screen. Figured recovery could just do a reset. I'll try to reflash using your method when I get homeComment

I definitely need some help with this, I have it powered down, go into recovery, plug it in, it wont be recognized. volume down, plus reset to put it in "flash" mode, and plug it in, it goes to ROM 1.3 splash screen, nothing about being a usb device or being plugged into computer, RK29 tool doesnt recognize tablet. hope this thing isnt bricked beyond repairComment

You cannot brick one of these tablet beyond repair! It's almost impossible!
But I am not sure what instructions you are following? My instructions do NOT give you that order. In fact when you do the volume thing with reset and then plug in the USB, the tablet will change modes. Where are you reading that this is the process?
I think my README is clear. Well as best I could make it? If you follow that to the letter, you should be OK.

Thanks for all your hard work on these ROM's. Will this particular ROM work on the 4300 version of the Polaroid Tablet as well? I'm eager to get this thing rooted and a decent ROM on it because IMHO it's shipped with garbage. TIA
