I'm uploading a new system.img to try in my ROM Kit. I'll give you a link when it is done.

OK, here is the link to the updated system.img

Download it and unzip the file. Overwrite this file into my original ROM kit and flash.

See if that works.

Here is the update:
Tried with the new system.img copied into your Riley Rom 1.0, No boot at all.
Then added Boot.img from the Stock rom to your Riley Rom 1.0, No boot at all.
Then also added Recovery.img from Stock rom to your Riley Rom 1.0, No boot at all
Reloaded your original Stock rom, boots up and runs fine.

Try flashing this system.img with the stock kit. Everything else stock.

Now we are cooking. I'll do some more looking, but I think the problem might be the parameter file that is causing it.

Anyway, are you happy with this final result? I might be able to tweak the parameter to give you more app space.

More like super happy, got there in the end, thanks for your speedy support and knowledgeable input throughout this thread.
If I can be of any future help in repayment please count on me to go for it, or at least try, I have the time, retired so trying to delve into the Android system by reading plenty but where to start.
As mentioned in a previous post I also have a rooted U30GT-H.
I see you use a U30GT2, does the Wi-Fi give any range improvement?

I really don't have any wifi issues. The latest firmware has improved it some. It is a great device!!!

After reviewing this thread, it looks like I never put this ROM kit completely together...so based on testing, here is v1.0a.

The problem was in the parameter file, which I fixed.

Also you have a choice of either 2gb or 4gb user app space. The default parameter file is 2 gb. If you want 4 gb...just rename the "parameter" file to "parameter2" and rename the "parameter4" file to "parameter" before running the flash tool.

Just follow the link in Post #1 to the download page. The download link has been updated to download the current file.

Somebody please help!

I went through the entire process of rooting, then installing the Riley rom...tablet stuck in bootloop now. At this point having a very hard time fixing it even with the links here as well as xda....nothing seems to work tablet still stays in bootloop. I liked the tablet but it won't operate now and I'd like to keep it and not waste a perfectly good android device. I am on windows7 - 64bit. All I need guidance on what I gotta do from here. (Files, software,links, etc...)
