I'm afraid I'm not able to make a kernel. First, I've never done a kernel....much less for an MTK device. I currently don't know of any developers on FT doing MTK kernels right not...except for maybe Abdul_pt.

I've been able to port a a rom to our phone. It's from the V919 3G tablet. I'll post more when Im done. Also, was not able to get the Lollipop to work.

Currently, I'm running rooted stock 1.7 FW with 4GB internal app partition. Lollipop skinned using exposed module 'Monster UI'. Quite happy with it.

what do you mean?
change space for partition editing scatter file or adjust .img preallocated size for system...?little partition then what you wait or need extra space?

System size is not the problem i think ....if it was minor of stock simply have less available space for new system app if bigger you cant spflash it...i m working to t98 lollipop but only bootloop on teclast logo!!!

what about a Port of a Lenovo K3 Note Lollipop 5.1 Rom,this Phone has nearly the same Specs.I am not a Rom Porter
so maybe someone give it a Try.

if i was you i would buy another newer Device with better FW Support,T7 has only Fake Yun OS no orginal Kit Kat 4.4.4.
Root is no Problem,but Cube makes no Updates for this Device & Custom Roms nearly not exist.It is 64bit but only 32bit FW.
Even Riley makes nothing new and he is a Owner of a T7.I have my T7 longer than a Year,so i would not buy it again.

The Gpu is not so strong only 720 MP2,the CPU only uses 2 Cores most Time with max 1859mhz and that's only the little Core.
