[CLOSED *UN*SOLVED] Cannot Install CUBE TALK9X/U65GT

    Situations & Understanding:

    - When I connect my tablet to my desktop with its power ON, "Xiong Android Phone" appears on Device Manager. It disappears when the tablet is disconnected.
    - When my friend connects her tablet to her laptop with its power ON, "Xiong Android Phone" appears on Device Manager. It disappears when the tablet is disconnected.
    - When I connect my tablet to my desktop with its power OFF, NOTHING happens. No popups, no sounds...
    - When my friend connects her tablet to her laptop with its power OFF, NOTHING happens. No popups, no sounds...
    - My tablet can be used normally as a "tablet" computer at present.
    - My friend's tablet can be used normally as a "tablet" computer at present.
    - My tablet is not dead.
    - My friend's tablet is not dead.
    - The driver listing program does not show any entries that seem related to MTK or U65GT (no entries containing "MTK" or "U65GT" or even "Xiong") even when the tablet is connected or not or its power is on or not. I do not want to remove every driver downwards from top!

I'm on Windows 7 64. When things go weird for me or when some utility installs a driver which just messes things up. Open system properties>Enviroment Variables and add devmgr_show_nonpresent_devices - value 1. Open Computer management, click view and click show hidden devices. Remove and uninstall drivers related to any mtk drivers you have previously installed, any drivers with an installer remove through programs and features. I just use All MTK USB Driver 2014, Google it, in it you'll find New inst. win 7&8x64 folder and click the installer to install drivers. I can't remember whether you have to have unsigned drivers enabled to install on a 64 bit machine.

With flashtools remember to start flashtools first, with tablet off , you can then connect the usb to start reading or writing.

I've never actually had your problem, but I've had my fair share of other driver related problems LOL

Almost nobody understands my biggest issue.
That is NOTHING happens when my tablet is connected to my desktop unless its power is on. Nothing.
I could replace an unknown device or incorrect one to the correct driver if "something" appears on Device Manager.
When the power is on "Xiong Android Phone" appears instead, but it does not allow communication with my tablet...
          "Update Driver" does not work.

Another problem is my friend has the same problem.
I don't believe both tablets are dead.

Not dead because the tablet is RECOGNIZED by the pc as something else when the power's on.

i dont want to remove every usb driver (unless someone is sure to guarantee successful installation).
A lot of usb devices have been installed so for and they do not hurt me!

                Neither do I...
Nobody should say something like what PC customer service is like to say.

Not every usb driver, just the MTK drivers. All you want in device manager Ports>MediaTek USB VCOM (Android) (COM mines on 3) to use flashtools. I able to work with mtk6589, mtk6582 and mtk6592 chipsets with the drivers I mentioned and it should install the drivers you need. You don't need loads of drivers installed. It appears you have some driver installed, maybe a conflict detecting your tablet as something else.

                    is my english soooooo terrible?
Nothing can be added to device manager when the tab is connected to the pc with its power is off.
and nothing can be updated or changed when the tab is connected with its power is on because something else appears on device manager and it does not allow to change drivers.

                      Mine is the case...
I cannot add or change anything when nothing happens.

You should NOT go. should stop it.
I know things won't go unless the device is recognized (with power off in this case)

The first thing to do is making the tablet recognized even with the power off.

Because you don't connect the tablet to the pc when you install or remove the drivers.

Remove the tablet, remove the drivers and try the drivers again I mentioned. Connecting the tablet is the last thing you do, ie install drivers, start flashtools, connect your tablet, it flashes an installation box when it detects the preloader driver for your tablet for the first time, flashtools should then work. Different drivers are used when in on(USB debugging) or off state, ADB driver is used when usb debugging is on(labeled My HTC by the driver on mine), when usb debugging is off it should just be a plug and play device, Port VCOM driver when off for the preloader. Nothing happens when you connect the tablet to the pc while the tablet is off, it just charges.

i do not understand what you say.
when i connected my tab to my pc it appears in device manager as a phone model i never heard or saw.
i could remove this and try to add another driver (not clicking on refresh device) but that phone appears again automatically.

i cannot attach a driver to "nothing" because i just remove that phone.

i cannot install a driver unless it is a win installer when the tablet is not connected.

i cannot attach a driver to "nothing"
